sun-a-wear and UV research

Our mission is to raise awareness of UV radiation and to promote research into the health effects of UV radiation. We do this by continuously improving and miniaturizing our technology with the aim of integrating our sensors into clothing and accessories. sun-a-wear should become invisible. We do this on two levels:

• Our sun-a-wear technology is an aid to help make it easier to monitor the intensity of one's sun exposure.
• The second level is fundamental: we want to encourage research into UV radiation and its positive and negative effects on our body. Science has to be independent, and that's why we have that Sun Awareness Institute, a Swiss foundation that supports and drives such research.
